
Josh Davidow is a documentary filmmaker and the producer/director of the Journey with Robert Thurman series: Journey with Robert Thurman in Bhutan (2012) and Journey with Robert Thurman in Mongolia (2013). These two films follow Professor Robert Thurman, chair of Indo-Tibetan Studies at Columbia University, as he leads Western travelers on a spiritual pilgrimage through the lands where Buddhism began.
Davidow’s short documentary, © kiwiright (2009), explores New Zealand copyright law, Internet termination and who really is in control of our culture.
Josh is also the creator and producer of The Bob Thurman Podcast and The Bob Thurman Video Podcast which has brought Robert Thurman’s Buddhist spiritual and scientific teachings to the world.
In 2001, Josh formed Fresh Young Minds, a production company specializing in new media and video production. Josh has worked in live television production at Oxygen Network and holds degrees from NYU in dramatic writing and the University of Auckland for documentary filmmaking.
